Good champions of norrath rom12/3/2023 ![]() You can use this trick to quickly duplicate a good weapon (the Iceflame for example) and have two great weapons for dual wield!Īnother instance where this exploit is helpful is when you find a miscellaneous armor/weapon enchantment item (the items that give small bonuses to weapons and armour when combined with them). Warriors and Rangers, because of their dual weapon ability, tend to get stuck with one good weapon and one bad one (if you're lucky). The game tends to delete items if they are left on the ground, so it's best for any items you intend to transfer be on the original character before you add or delete a cloned character. The basic premise is that you can import your own character, then dump the clone's equipment on the ground so your original character can snatch them up and sell (or use) them. You need at least one memory card and two analog controllers for this trick to work (more advanced version for Norrath require more cards, more controllers, and the PS2 multitap) and is only valid for the Normal (non-Internet) Campaign. This is a common exploit for multi-character action RPGs. When the game starts you can delete the second character and play solo game. You now have a level 1 character with 100 points in each stat. You will notice you only have 5 points to spend this time. Instead now spend 15 of his points on him then go all the way back to character 1 stat page. Then repeat the above steps until your stats look like this:Īt this point go to character 2 stat page like you were gonna take another 20 points off of him. You'll notice you have an extra 20 points to spend. Instead hit the back button (circle) until you reach character 1's stat distribution page. Continue on to player two and begin to create his character.Ĭhoose his look but when you get to adding the 20 points STOP! Do not add any points to character 2 stats. Start a new game and have player 1 create his character normally. Example: 1 character 100 stats= 2 controllers, 2 chara 100 stats= 3 controllers ect. Anywho you need at least two controllers plugged in and an additional one for each extra character you want to use this trick for. ![]() I will explain.įirst this trick only works Champions of Norrath not Return to Arms. Originally you can only get 3 stats to 100 and the last at 95 right? Well this is wrong. Hopefully this helps. Most probably already know this trick but I am adding to it IGN and to the trick itself. I've messed around with this game a lot trying to get it to play right and these settings work great for me. Then set texture filtering to bilinear (ps2), Crc hack level partial (OpenGL recommended), check enable hacks. You should be able to run it at 4x fine, maybe even 6x. I have mine set to 8x and it runs at 60 fps but o have a gtx 1080 with an i7 6700k. ![]() Choose your graphics card, direct3d11 (hardware), interlacing on auto, allow 8 bit textures, internal resolution you can play with a bit. Under core settings - GS window, set your aspect ratio and window size to your monitors native settings (or whatever you want to use), set your speedhack preset to 2, DO NOT enable MTVU. My suggestion would be to revert pcsx (and I can only speak for the version I am running) to its default settings. My computer is a bit beefier but the OP's specs are sufficient to handle his game. It runs pretty solid, certainly better than how OP described. I'm currently playing this game in hardware mode with pcsx2 v1.4.0. ![]() Every setting is default from install and I only selected AVX2 for GSdX. But the game's speed is out of control anywhere from 50%-150% and in extreme cases ~1400% speed. My FPS is a solid 59-60, it hardly ever fluctuates from that regardless of what other issues I encounter. I (Full/Fast) boot and everything seems fine until I get to either the Main Menu, or load a char. The problem is, the games SPEED is unstable. iso's, and I've failed several times at using. So I decided to reinstall PCSX2 and give this engine another shot.Īt the moment, I've gotten PCSX2 installed, I've got my. I've got the itch, and some useless discs. ![]() Alas, the PS2 had been sold before I was able to make it this year, and now a few months later. I uninstalled and was going to just pick up these games and my PS2 the next time I went home for christmas. I encountered the splitscreen/halfscreen issue for Hardware rendering and was very unhappy with Software mode. A couple years ago I tried to run Champions and other Snowblind engine games on PCSX2. ![]()
