Hollow knight silksong tease11/30/2023 Since Silksong’s gameplay was already shown during its reveal, it’s likely that a new spot at Summer Game Fest would show off its release date in full, finally giving fans a time in which they can get their hands on the title for themselves. Just one year ago, Elden Ring – a game with comparable amounts of hype and lack of information – was discussed and teased just before getting a full gameplay reveal alongside a release date. This isn’t the first time a highly anticipated release was teased by Keighley. For those unfamiliar with him, Griffin manages marketing and publishing for Hollow Knight: Silksong, as well as Crowsworn, a game inspired by Hollow Knight. This doesn’t mean much on its own, but the tweet was commented on by Matthew Griffin. Geoff Keighley, the man in charge of Summer Game Fest 2022, mentioned on Twitter that a World Premier arrived in his inbox just days before the event. While the game was not mentioned by name, an important person tied to its development commented on the tease. Possible Hollow Knight: Silksong Reveal Teased for Summer Game Fest 2022 Fans might not need to wait for much longer, however, as a possible Silksong reveal was teased for Summer Game Fest 2022. After these initial reveals, however, Silksong was left with very little in the way of information it was hard to say if the game was even being worked on at that time. Originally revealed back in 2019, the newest Team Cherry title was shown off with intense gameplay and brand-new characters in an unknown world. Hollow Knight: Silksong is in development for Nintendo Switch and PC.It’s been a while since any news about Hollow Knight: Silksong was shared with fans. Those curious to see if Hollow Knight: Silksong will be at Summer Game Fest will want to tune in to the event on Thursday, June 9 at 11am PT. Summer Game Fest may very well be the perfect time to bring the sequel back in the spotlight, but fans shouldn't get their hopes up too high. The fervor surrounding Hollow Knight: Silksong may justify showcasing the game on a bigger stage than a Nintendo Direct or Indie Showcase event. Generally, fans have been expecting to see Hollow Knight: Silksong appear at a Nintendo Direct event, but many of those have come and gone without a peep from the game. Information has been hard to come by since Hollow Knight: Silksong was first announced in 2019, and so whenever a big event like Summer Game Fest happens, fans tune in hoping to see the game make its long-awaited comeback. Hollow Knight fans are hungry for more information on Hollow Knight: Silksong, and understandably so. Alternatively, it's possible that fans are looking too much into Griffin's tweets, but with near-radio silence on Hollow Knight: Silksong for the past few years, it's no surprise that many fans are jumping to conclusions. A Twitter user then asked Griffin what he meant by his comment, and he replied, "I think the whole 'world premiere' thing means only Geoff knows." Besides Hollow Knight: Silksong, Griffin is also involved with the Kickstarter-funded Crowsworn, so it's possible he could be teasing an appearance by that game instead. Griffin simply said that he approves of the tease, which has proven to be enough to hype up the Hollow Knight community. This tease by itself is way too vague for anyone to determine what game Keighley could be hinting at, but then Matthew Griffin, who is handling the marketing and publishing for Hollow Knight: Silksong, responded to it, leading to speculation that it could be referring to Hollow Knight: Silksong. However, a new development suggests that Hollow Knight: Silksong could very well be at the upcoming Summer Game Fest event on June 9, though fans should keep their expectations in check. Considering how popular the original Hollow Knight is, it's no surprise that anticipation is high for the sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong, even though updates on the game have been basically nonexistent for nearly three years at this point. Team Cherry's Hollow Knight was a massive success and critical darling, praised for its marriage of Soulslike and Metroidvania elements, gripping atmosphere, and gorgeous artwork.
